Social care funding

Social care funding

Social care funding is the money that local authorities use to help people lead independent and healthy lives. It covers a wide range of services, including personal care and support, that people with varying levels of need may require. People who cannot afford the cost of these needed services can apply to their local authority for what is effectively a means-tested top-up.
